2018 chevy malibu transmission problems

Reading online this seems to be a common problem. The contact stated the vehicle's reduce engine warning light would illuminate at various speeds. Popped the hood, checked the oil level which was good, & figured I'd be fine to drive it home to park it & then hook the scanner up. The most recently reported issues are listed below. This sudden reduction of power is very dangerous and a safety hazard to me and other cars on the road. It take about 10 seconds before it get in full speed.
